Casa Terrapico Bed and Breakfast

Lovely bed and breakfast accommodation in a large country house set in 5 acres of olive, almond and carob groves with orange and lemon trees overlooking the magnificent Sierra Cardo mountains and Els Ports national park. This splendidly large grand chalet has a picturesque garden, swimming pool with large terraces and BBQ.

The house is only 5 minutes drive from the local village with bars and restaurants but for a wider choice the historical city of Tortosa is a 10 minute drive where you will find large supermarkets, banks, shops and the fasciinating Old Town of Tortosa with its medieval buildings, fine Cathedral and castle with amazing views over the city of Tortosa and the River Ebro.

There are 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 people, one twin bedded room and one double room. Bedrooms are bright and airy with ceiling fans, country and mountain views and own shower room. the lounge has an enormous flat screen television to relax in front of with full Sky TV package including sports, movie and children's channels. Off the lounge is an impressive balcony patio with panoramic views of the countryside and mountains. a fridge is provided for the sole use of guests for cold drinks, snacks and tea and coffee making facilities. Internet and wifi access also available.

Downstairs, a cooked English or continental breakfast is served in the sunny terrace room that looks out onto the swimming pool, sun terraces and garden. guests are welcome to unwind and enjoy the swimming pool and BBQ area. Towels are provided in the bedrooms and for around the swimming pool.

Bed and Breakfast is only 25 euros per person per night, children under 12 half price. You have the option to request an evening meal for only 10 euros, including beer or wine and packed lunches can also be arranged. What incredible value!

There are lovely safe sandy beaches within a 20 minute drive at San Carles and L'Ampolla and we will be happy to give you directions to these.

The large resort of Salou is 50 minutes away and well worth a day out, especially if you are here with the family - the kids will love it and if you don't feel like driving, take the train from Tortosa which takes you into the heart of Salou for about 8 euros return.

Catfishing on the river Ebro

We also specialise in guided boat Catfishing holidays for you, your friends and your family on the River Ebro, Spain. If you want to catch a fish of a lifetime we can help you achieve that dream. These monster fish can be found in all sections of the river and your guide Steve will take you to the places where you are most likely to catch. The fishing will be in a brand new 17ft Dory with a 6ft beam and 60hp Mercury engine. there is lots of deck space for a comfortable day's fishing and a very stable platform to fish from, fully equipped to catch that fish of a lifetime. all tackle is top quality including Fox rods, shimano reels and the best hooks and line for the job. Children of all ages are welcome to stay at Casa Terrapico but only those over the age of 11 will be able to fish from the boat.

Boat, guide, all tackle and bait provided

120 euros per day for 1 to 3 people (per boat - not each!)

If 4 people wish to fish 2 boats are required which can be arranged. The cost would be 120 euros for each boat per day.

A seven night holiday would normally include 5 days fishing (8 hours per day)
