Hunters Lodge is set in the midst of 75 acres of beautfiful pine forests in the foothills of the Sierra Cardo mountain range, in the Tarragona region of Catalunya, Spain. Enjoy one of the many woodland walks, through wild lavender, wild rosemary, wild orchids; watch the many different species of birds, including eagles, relax on the terrace enjoying the panoramic mountain views. Perfect for a long stay, a short stay, or even for those passing through with their horses as there is stabling available.

Close to the River Ebro for fishing, the beaches of the costa Daurada, the mountains and Natural parcs and the Ebro Delta, this region is fantastic for birdlovers, walkers, horse riding, beach trips, climbing, watersports, or for those simply wanting a relaxing, peaceful holiday in the sun.

Robin and Tricia Carpenter, the owners, will make sure that your holiday is enjoyable and offer every assistance. They also offer horse-riding (hacking and lessons), clay-pigeon shooting and off-roading in a Camel Trophy Land Rover on the estate.

Hunters Lodge is just a short drive from the village of Rasquera, a typical Catalan mountain village which boasts a range of services and amenities. there is a market every week, a range of shops including butchers and general store, fishmongers, bakers, supermarket, post office and a number of bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Bar Marti (owned by the village policeman!) has a big screen TV for sports. Other amenities iinclude a children's play area, a football pitch, basketball court and a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. a local community amenity centre with cinema is currently beiing built.

Hunters Lodge is a beautiful, newly built cottage set in the grounds of this beautiful estate. the views all around are stunning and in a haven of peace and quiet, this is a wonderful experience for all. Woodland walks abound and for the bird and nature lovers it is the perfect spot.

	The accommodation is set as in studio-style and offers complete privacy for 2 people. the accommodation comprises a kitchen/diner with sink, gas hob, microwave, fridge; a double bedroom with ensuite showere, tiled stairs leading to a mezzanine open plan lounge with tv. Shaded terraces at both the front and the back complete an idyllic holiday setting.

The property is priced per week and includes bedding, towels, welcome pack, electricity with a small nominal charge for gas. The lodge is thoroughly cleaned and prepared on changeover.

Prices range from €350 low season to €495 high season. Hunters Lodge is available all year.
